Programme description
Physiotherapy is a vital healthcare profession dedicated to restoring, maintaining, and optimizing movement, physical function, and overall wellbeing. Physiotherapists apply evidence based interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, and patient education to treat injuries, manage chronic conditions, support postsurgical recovery, and prevent future health problems. The profession plays a central role in rehabilitation, sports medicine, geriatric care, and public health. This program responds to the growing global demand for skilled rehabilitation professionals and prepares graduates to work in diverse settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, sports teams, clinics, and community health facilities. The program is structured in two phases. The initial phase builds a strong foundation in basic medical sciences and human movement principles, while the later phase emphasizes advanced clinical training, specialization areas such as neurology and sports physiotherapy, extensive supervised patient rotations, and completion of a final research project.
